Audio-Video Matrix Switcher

2025-05-29
   I. Audio-Video Matrix Switcher Principle:
Designed specifically for switching/distributing video and unbalanced stereo audio signals. Routes any input signal to any output channel; output channels operate independently. Some products allow asynchronous A/V control.
Features include power-off state memory, vertical interval switching, RS-232 interface for computer control, IR control, network control; New LED display and tactile buttons ensure intuitive status indication and simplified operation.
   II. Audio-Video Matrix Switcher Interfaces:
Typically paired white (audio) and yellow (video) RCA ('phono') connectors. Connect using standard RCA A/V cables. A/V separation avoids luminance/chrominance (Y/C) interference degrading image quality. However, Y/C mixing still occurs, requiring display devices to separate/decode—inevitably causing color loss and interference. A/V persists but can't satisfy extreme visual demands.
